Coach Ali is a mother of 3 beautiful, smart and athletic girls and married to an amazing and supportive husband. She taught PE in Baltimore City for 5 years with Volleyball being her favorite unit to teach. Having grown up in New York she spent her teen years competing internationally in badminton, winning 7 Junior National championships and ranking as high as 3rd in the nation in women's double. She was able to 'see the world' and live in the Olympic Training Center.
She is now a pediatric nurse who loves sports and believes they build confidence, work ethics and commitment while providing endless opportunities for those who are willing to work at their sport.
Coach Ali has been playing volleyball in an adult league and having a blast - she loves the game. She is excited to coach and help the girls improve their skills, build friendships and have fun while doing it.
